I came across this list while reading a bit… very compelling to me… what do YOU think about it?
William Bennett & Seth Leibson’s ”10 Concerns About Barack Obama“
Some may wonder why I’ve been so outspoken against Obama lately… and it’s not because I’m a huge McCain backer – I’m NOT. It’s that I think that the potential of Obama as President is much WORSE a prospect for our country than has existed in a very long time (even including Hillary and Al Gore). One of the main reasons for that is that our next President will likely appoint at least 2 Supreme Court Justices who will serve indefinitely (for life)… and if Obama is true to his far left record and stance on most things, he’ll probably appoint Justices who legislate from the bench instead of interpret the laws our founding fathers laid down. That’s an awful prospect – devestating in fact.
On the same note, though I have problems with many of McCain’s positions, he’s been very vocal about appointing “strict constructionists” to the Supreme Court – which means he’ll choose Justices who will interpret the laws in light of what our nation’s Founding Fathers meant, not what THEY (the Justices) wish they had meant. That sounds TONS better to me.
