It's the author himself!
I’m your regular sort of guy – only I’m a Pastor (of almost 20 years), a father (of 5) and a husband (of 20 years)! I write mainly out of a desire to encourage those who are followers of Christ to be serious about that task. I believe the Bible IS God’s word, that in it God has said what He means, and that our job (in part) is to put it to practice in our lives.
That may sometimes look pretty “normal” but much of the time it may look kind of weird to those looking on – but all the time it should look like Jesus! There are links on the blog for sermons (the ones I preach most Sundays) so you can hear me saying instead of writing what I think about scriptural stuff if you have a hankering!
