Blog Casserole!

The best or worst or slightly interesting of the web over the last week (from my humble perspective)
  • I enjoy the functionality and usefulness of texting as much as the next person. There are truly times when it is more fitting to text than to call. BUT – there are limits to texting, and RUDE is RUDE. I appreciate this article a ton.
  • Speaking of our sexualized world… are you doing what you can to make sure the smut doesn’t get into your house? Check out Covenant Eyes – filtering and accountability software that will help do just that.
  • No matter which church or denomination you affiliate yourself with, you will no-doubt be asked or expected to get involved in the life of your local church. And to give you the benefit of the doubt, you’ll probably want to be engaged as well. But for many, learning how to balance ministry in a way that doesn’t kill the rest of life (and your other responsibilities) can be a problem for many. Angie Tolpin has written a very helpful, contemplative post on this very issue. It’s worth the read.
