Blog Casserole!
The best or worst or slightly interesting of the web over the last week (from my humble perspective)
- In all my years in pastoral ministry, it’s common to hear the term “false teacher.” But what really IS a false teacher, and how do you know one when you see them (or hear them)? Here is a very old list about how to spot one.
- A letter to the President from a mom, about the conversation she had with her kids about abortion. Read it. Weep. Talk with your kids. Let’s change the culture about this issue beginning with the generations under our own roofs.
- Ever feel like you’ve grown more from being a parent than from anything else that’s ever happened in your whole livin’ life? Me too. And we’re not alone.
- It was some ten years ago that I first heard Nancy DeMoss speak about broken VS humble people. I still have her words echo in my mind from time to time. Here’s a list compiled from her talk that is worth prayerful meditation and personal contemplation.

Thank you so much for the proud vs humble post. I am really struggling with a few things, and reading that chart helped me realize that part of my pain, is actually the sin of pride. I’ve been praying for wisdom, and I think your posting was answered prayer! 😉 THANKS!
